They will present results from the initiative in Franklin County, Ohio, that implemented both ACT and IDDT simultaneously. They'll review the history of the initiative, as well as facilitators and barriers to implementation, lessons learned, and current outcomes data, which include significant reductions in service costs.

May 21-23, 2012; Dayton, OH; $88-250; CEUs | Steve Shober and Marilyn Kohn from our center will present two workshops at the "4th Annual Wellness Management and Recovery Conference." Shober will present "Employment Basics," which will provide an overview of principles and strategies that support people who are pursuing or sustaining competitive employment.  Kohn will present "Consumer-Operated Services: Partners in Employment." This year's conference will feature many learning and peer-networking opportunities, including many interactive 90-minute workshops.

Delos Reyes, MD, from our center will present "Pharmacology Update: Treating Mental Illness & Substance Use Disorders" and Scott Gerhard, MA, LSW, from our center will present "Why Won't My Clients Do What I Tell Them to Do?"
