Turning Knowledge into Practice, 2nd Edition
A manual for human-service administrators and practitioners about understanding and implementing evidence-based practices (EBPs). The mission of the authors and sponsors of this manual is to enhance independence, self sufficiency, and community living for people with disabilities. There are substantial bodies of knowledge underlying the various elements addressed in this manual:
- Clinical interventions or practices
- Technology of knowledge transfer and adoption of innovation
- Process and structure of change management
- Increasingly complex issues of financing services and supports for all people with disabilities, but especially for those with addictive and mental disorders.
This publications is sometimes referred to as the "TAC manual."
