A free video-conference training event for psychiatrists, primary-care physicians, other physicians, and nurses will take place on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at multiple sites throughout Ohio. Learn how to advance tobacco cessation and recovery in primary-healthcare and behavioral-healthcare settings for people diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.

People with severe mental illness are among the heaviest users of tobacco. Learn different treatment approaches to help consumers improve their health and well-being. A special emphasis will be placed upon pharmacological interventions. Social workers, counselors, and addictions counselors are encourage to attend.
