Abstract

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an evidence-based practice for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Assertive Community Treatment teams serve individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders. This workshop will explore the key elements of the Dual Disorder model for ACT

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to: 

  • Describe the prevalence of substance use disorders with individuals being served by ACT teams.
  • List and describe the 6 ASAM Dimensions of Multidimensional Assessment.
  • List and describe the ASAM Criteria Levels of Care.
