He provides technical assistance (consulting and training) to organizations that are implementing evidence-based practices, emerging best practices, and other strategies that improve services and outcomes for people diagnosed with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. These strategies include Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT), Dual Diagnosis Capability in Addiction Treatment and Mental Health Treatment (DDCAT/ DDCMHT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), among others.
