"Regional Meetings for ACT | Assertive Community Treatment" are hosted by the Center for Evidence-Based Practices at Case Western Reserve University. These events are professional peer-networking opportunities that occur throughout the State of Ohio (see schedule below). The meetings are designed to encourage professionals from multiple disciplines, service settings, and systems of care to share challenges, solutions, and lessons learned while implementing ACT.

What is ACT?

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an evidence-based practices that improves outcomes for people with severe mental illness who are most at-risk of homelessness, psychiatric crisis and hospitalization, and involvement in the criminal justice system.

Networking | Sharing Solutions

"Regional Meetings for ACT" are frequently attended by individuals from organizations that have different levels of experience with the implementation of ACT services. The meetings help maximize efficiencies and outcomes because participants help each other replicate strategies that are getting results and avoid mistakes that have already been made.

"Regional Meetings for ACT" are free and open to professionals in local communities who provide Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), the evidence-based practice for people with severe mental illness, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. The meetings are also for community collaborators who are interested in enhancing services for and outcomes among people with severe mental illness.
