ACT | Dartmouth Assertive Community Treatment Scale (DACTS) & Protocol
The Dartmouth Assertive Community Treatment Scale (DACTS fidelity scale) helps organizations implement Assertive
Community Treatment (ACT), the evidence-based practice. ACT improves
outcomes for people with severe mental illness who are most at-risk of
homelessness, psychiatric crisis and hospitalization, and involvement in
the criminal justice system.
DACTS Revised
The version of DACTS and DACTS Protocol on this web page was edited by the Center for Evidence-Based Practices at Case Western Reserve University in collaboration with original authors of the fidelity scale. This version of DACTS is based upon the ACT Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) KIT produced and published by the
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
The Center for
Evidence-Based Practices at Case Western Reserve University uses the DACTS and TMACT fidelity scales when providing consultation services to organizations that are implementing
ACT. For more information about our ACT consultation services, visit the "practices" section of our website (click here).
