Employment Network (EN)
This web page explains the purpose of an Employment Network (EN). An EN is a public or private organization—such as a mental-health service organization—that enters into a contract with the Social Security Administration (SSA) to coordinate and deliver employment services, vocational rehabilitation (VR) services, and/or other support services under the Ticket-To-Work Program. These services are provided by the EN to people who receive Social Security benefits (e.g., SSI, SSDI) who assign their "Tickets" to that EN.
An EN may be a single entity or a partnership of organizations that combine their resources into a single entity. An organization (or partnership of organizations) may become an EN by completing the application—request for proposal (RFP).
